Missing Issues and One-Shots

In regards to snowcrashed's response to the "Consideration for Crossover Events & One-Shot Issues” thread (see below), I think it makes sense to start a new thread for all forum members and PSP comic readers to keep an ongoing log of missing issues and one-shots that serve to complete story arcs.

snowcrashed's response:

Re: Consideration for Crossover Events & One-Shot Issues

Hi guys, we do read these posts :-) We've already put in a request with Marvel to see if they can submit the comics you mention. It is up to each publisher to choose what they wish to put forward so lets hope that they'll fill the gaps and not leave people in a similar situation in the future. If you do notice any more missing issues then please let us know!

Currently, I have noticed the following issues and one-shots are missing (some of which Sony may have already requested from Marvel):

  • Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, #24 (Part 2 of "One More Day" arc)
  • Black Panther (vol 4), #8 and #9 (Parts 2 and 4 of "Wild Kingdom" X-men arc)
  • X-Men: Messiah Complex One Shot (Part 1 for the Messiah Complex crossover event)
  • X-Men: Endangered Species One-Shot (Part 1 for the Endangered species back-up stories that run through X-Men #200-204, Uncanny X-Men #488-491, New X-Men #40-42, and X-Factor #21-24).

I urge other forum members and PSP comic readers to missing issues and one-shots that they have encountered.  Thanks.

Re: Missing Issues and One-Shots

Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men run is incomplete.  The run was supposed to be 24 issues long with four 6 part story arc.  The last story arc called "Unstoppable" runs through issues #19-24 which are posted, but the last part is in the one-shot Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men #1.  This not only serves as the conclusion to the last story arc, but also to the entire Whedon run, which is quite good.  Can we add this to the request list from Marvel please?

Re: Missing Issues and One-Shots

Other problem is that all of the Endangered Species stories are not contained in the issues, even though they advertise them on the front.  I have bought all of the issues that are available on the store, but they don't all contain the Endangered Species stores like they are supposed to.  How can this be solved?

Re: Missing Issues and One-Shots

To be more specific, New X-Men advertise Endangered Species on the front is issues 40-42, but the stories are not there.  Same goes for Uncanny issues 488-491.  The only issues that contain the Endangered Species stories are X-Men issues 200-204.

This.

I was thoroughly enjoying the Joss Whedon X-Men stories and got to issue #24 expecting a massive climax.

When the little indicator popped up to show that I'd reached the end, I was a little nonplussed.

It would be useful to have it added, please.
